We’ve all dreamed of an epic makeover at the end of summer – after all, everyone wants to look new and fresh. As some schools are offering in-person classes while other schools are not, we all want to make a new first-impression. This can be seen through perfecting our makeup skills, or by wearing fun new outfits. Although, we are perfect inside and out – there’s nothing wrong with changing a few bad habits and implementing new ones. Skincare

As the skin is the largest organ in our body, it is essential to take care of it. We recommend that you use a simple, yet effective skincare routine. You should start off your morning routine with a cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. You can add a toner or serum, but cleansing is extremely important in the morning.

The same can be said with hair, nails, and eyebrows. However, make sure that when choosing those “looks”, that they compliment well with your features. For example, if you have a more round face, get bangs that enhance your features.

Vision Board

As MDSUN has previously stated how vital vision boards are, they definitely play a huge part of “glowing up”. Vision boards are when you collect images, texts, or cliparts that align with your goal. You can put these vision boards wherever you want, as long as they are in places where you check frequently. While some are misled that a “glow-up” can only be achieved physically, your mindset is the most important tool.

Passions

Finally, when “glowing-up” make sure that you have time to explore your passions and hobbies. This could be finishing an art-piece that you’ve been working on for a while or even playing your favorite sport. As stated before, a “glow-up” means not only transforming physically, but mentally too. Allowing yourself to creatively explore your interests will not only make you a happier, but stronger person. At the end of the day, a “glow-up” does not happen unless you make the correct steps to approach it.
