Netflix Entertainment Recommendations

The Office

Taking place in Scranton, Pennsylvania, a camera crew company videotapes a paper company called Dunder Mifflin. The story follows multiple characters – a manager who has a humorous personality, a salesman who wants to become the next executive of Dunder Mifflin, and an employee that has a crush on the receptionist. As this camera crew records Dunder Mifflin, viewers realize that Dunder Mifflin is more than just a small paper company.

Space Force

Mark R. Naird, a general that works at Space Force (extended by Air Force), faces challenges not only with his work operations but emotionally as well. This humorous yet emotional show entails how important family bonds are, and how having supportive co-workers are much better than working by yourself.

Hollywood

Lights, Camera, Action! Hollywood observes the stories of individuals who want to achieve the classic American Dream. Jack Costello, a young man who desires to be a famous actor, Raymond Ainsley, who dreams of getting his film recognized, Camille Washington, an African-American woman who faces prejudice through the entertainment industry, are just a few characters that want to be recognized for their talents. Hollywood depicts how ‘making it big’ is simply more than just a few auditions – it is about breaking barriers of race, class, and self-expectations.

The Last Airbender: The Series

The Last Airbender: The Series, a classic Nickelodeon show, reflects on a boy named Aang. Aang, a master of all four elements (earth, fire, water, and air), learns that he needs to defeat a fire bender to protect the world. Along his journey, he makes life-long friends who teach him that there is more to life than being the Avatar (master of all four elements).

The Importance of Self-Care

Although watching TV shows can be comforting, sometimes self-care can be greatly affected. With hours indoors all day, your skin can sometimes feel dry and unmoisturized. During these times – it is vital to take care of yourself.

If your skin ends up breaking out during quarantine this could be a variety of things: the amount of stress that has been circulating from the pandemic, lack of physical activity and sleep, changes of your diet, and finally, overuse of technology

However, this doesn’t mean that it is not possible to achieve healthy skin! If your main skin concern is dullness, it may be because of not wearing sunscreen. With the combination of staying indoors and UV rays being present from windows, sunscreen is our most valuable friend.

The MDSUN Antioxidant UV Protector SPF50 offers to protect your skin against harsh UV rays, has a 50+ SPF coverage, and a light formula that leaves your skin dewy and fresh. The ingredients in this product are Zinc Oxide 13.75%, Green Tea Polyphenols, Resveratrol, Emblica, CoQ10, Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin E. Vitamin E is an effective agent due to their natural properties for fighting against UV rays. Zinc Oxide also works well to heal harsh irritations that may be stubborn to go away.

Striving for self-balance may be hard during such an intense time, so make sure to especially take care of your skin, be consistent with your sleeping schedule and food habits, and still treat yourselves to these worthwhile shows!
